Default How much will it cost to replace a radiator on a 1999 Honda Accord LX including labor?

My radiator blew last night and the car is in the shop in Niceville Fl. The head mechanic was not in and could not give me a quote on the price. Any ideas or actual answers will be much appreciated. Thank you.

You did not specify size of engine. It all depends on where you take it to be repaired, Dealers will charge you top dollar for parts and labor. Your best bet would find a local garage you can TRUST. I have a local garage do all the repairs I cannot do myself.

They have no problem If I buy the parts for the repair job. I look at Rock auto.com first, you can find parts on there very reasonable. If your Honda has a 2.3L you can expect to pay between $57 & $100. If it has the 3.0L then you can pay from $75 to $300. I do the research I price parts online at Auto zone, Advance and Rock auto. Then you have to calculate the shipping with Rock auto, If it is more than the price at a local auto I go there. Sometimes, the Rock auto price is cheaper even with the shipping costs. Check out the sites below and good luck.

radiator cost about $100 online and autoparts store $150

labor could take about 2-3hrs so 70 per hour

you are looking at at least $300 to $400
