Default My 1999 Honda Accord will not start, It just makes a clicking sound. What could this be?

the battery is dead. or you need a new starter.

if you just moved it a short distance and turned it off then tried to start it again the engine could be flooded- meaning leave it for a while and it will be ok































Battery, check the battery charge- check how old it is too































Spark plugs- could get someone to try jump start your car

It sounds to me like you either need a new starter or a new alternator.

Could be something as small as a loose battery or starter wire. Might also wanna have your altinator checked out.

hi yes your cars battery sounds to be dead. try to jump start it. thats the only serious problem you could have. it wouldnt be flooded due to it not being able to even turn over. if it were flooded i recommend you put the pedal to the floor and turn it over. i might take a few tries but itll work.
