Start simple check the tension on the alternator belt is it good? if so take it to a shop you trust and have the charging system tested if the system tests good then the electrical diagnosis starts, are any lights being left on or not going off when the doors are all closed? is there a parasitic draw on the battery? Those are things a good shop should be able to handle checking out.
