Default 96 Accord LX EGR and Bank Running Rich Problem

I have a 96 Accord that started about 6 months ago tripping my check engine light and when I checked it the code was a p1491 or EGR Valve lift insuffecient or something like that. I replaced the EGR valve and still got the same error so after a little detective work it turned out to be clogged EGR ports so I opened up the ports and scraped them out as they were extremely clogged. All was fine and dandy for a day or two and then I got another check engine light so I went and checked the code this time it was both the p1491 (EGR) and also Bank 1 Running too rich. I have had it with this damn car and need answers. Also I had the EGR solenoid pump checked and it wasnt that. Anything helps please let me know what you think it is.
