any car with 159,000 miles is going to be overpriced unless you're getting it for free.

It's high. It should be half that.

Going by todays prices on cars... if in fair/good condition, that is a great buy. But remember it is a 1998, don't expect it to be a good car with no problems.

I have a 97 with under 120k, according to VMR I can still get anywhere from 4000-5600 for it.

Therefore 2000 for a 98 with that many km is a great deal. Honda engines last seemingly forever, it's stuff all around it that will likely need constant repairs.

I work in the car business and a 98 accord with 159k miles would go for around 3k if it is in decent shape and a clean title (no rebuilt or salvage titles) and honda engines will run for over 300k miles as long as you take care of them. I would buy it but i would also be cautious and see if it has gone through a mechanic to make sure it is mechanically sound first
