Default 96 Honda Accord will not start?? Please help!!?

Car won't start....Not hearing any turn over......Lights come on in dash board, all I hear is clicking.

A few weeks ago my car was completely dead and I had to get a jump, everything was fine until now. I replaced the starter already so it's not that.

Maybe the battery is dying again and I just need to jump it???

I had a bad problem with a honda starter button one time... did the same thing... its a very small part inside the starter that sometimes doesn't get replaced as it should. As long as all parts of starter have been replaced (not rebuilt) then that wouldn't be it, but there are coils on the outside of the satarter that are very sensitive. Make sure they are clear... hope that helps some!

If jumping will start it, it is the battery or charging system, not the starter. You can get it tested at most parts stores or check it yourself with a voltmeter. With the car running, if you get 13-14 volts across the battery, it is charging and is probably the battery not holding a charge. If you get under 12 volts, it may be the alternator.

Jump start it and drive it to an Auto Zone store to have the battery checked. The batter might be fine, but not being charged by the alternator.
