Default 2003 honda accord remote start?

im looking to get my girl friend a remote starter for her birthday and she has a 2003 honda accord lx. I was just wondering is it better to get a remote starter through honda itself, or go through a local electronics dealer who are very reliable, and offer a lifetime warranty on all parts and installation. I was going to go through honda, but i have heard that honda remote starters are junk. If anybody knows more about this im open for anything.

Id say just get one from somewhere else make sure you have the warranty (don't get the cheapest one)
