Default I bought a brand new 2011 Honda Accord SE, recently it just shut down on me, what am i able to do?

Bought a new Honda Accord se, it shut down on the freeway thankfully we could exit without getting hit by other cars. I had honda care and we called roadside assistant for towing and they told us they only cover upto $100 and the rest will be 700$ which we had to cover. This is a brand new car that just shut down and could have killed us on the freeway. What am I able to do now with the dealer? Can I get all my money back? because frankly i have lost all the trust in this car...only reason i bought a Honda is because its "reliable." Please help me out here on what i'm able to do now? Honda dealer wants to check it and fix it then give it to me....but it was a new car with less than 2000 mileage and it broke down, why shld i trust this car anymore?

lemon law says it has to be repeated issues and then the dealer is supposed to give ur money back or replace it with new car. i had this car for just a couple months... like 3 months.

and they will honor the warranty, plus i bought the maintenance package called HONDA CARE. BUT I JUST DON'T feel safe in this car anymore even if they tell me now its all fixed because shouldn't it have been "ALL FIXED" when i bought it BRAND NEWWW!!!!? I'm afraid it had bigger problems but now they will just blame it on something small and force me to get the car back.

Personally, I would give the dealer a chance to fix the car. Even Honda does not have 100% reliabality. As for the cost, this really should be under warrenty, what with the newness and low mileage the car has. If the dealer will not honor Honda's warrenty, you should get your local Better Bussiness Bureau involved, along with the local Attorney general's office, citing any "Lemon Laws" your location may have.

how long have you had the car? check your state laws on returning a vehicle. there is a time limit. if the dealer doesnt want to help you out, call Honda headquarters. Sounds like alot of BS and you gonna get alot of run around but stay on thier butts.

i think your car must be the period of the insurance they provided.
what you should do now is to give it to the dealer and they repair if for you.
but you should told them, if it shut again, you will get your money back.
and never buy this brand cars.

The first thing you need to do is look up the lemon law in YOUR State.

Next, have the car repaired by the dealer. It is under FULL warranty.
They should also give you a FULL refund for any costs incurred because it was Hondas fault it stalled. Keep all documentation including the road service paper work. If the dealer refuses to co-operate with the refund. Contact your local consumer advocate at the local TV station. There is nothing a little bad publicity won't do to change the dealers tune. Ninety-nine per cent of the time that solution works. Most TV station have one. If that fails, take them to small claims court in your city or town. The consumer ALWAYS wins claims like this. Remember to be informed. Knowledge is a powerful weapon.

Good luck
