Default Clutch makes noise in neutral

I have a '93 civic ex 5spd that makes a weird knocking sound when in neutral, I'm pretty sure it's related to the clutch because when I press the clutch in it goes away. The car still drives fine with no grinds or pop outs, I'm just concerned about the noise. Please help,
