Default would a gearbox from a 1999 civic work (and fit) in a 1994 civic?

i have a honda civic (1994) and it needs a new gearbox. i have found a 1999 model for sale near me (for very cheap) and i was wondering if the gearbox from that would work/fit in the 1994 model i have sitting in my garage?

If it's from a single cam civic it will work fine. If it's from the Si it won't.
