Default I have an 83 civic. I recently had the AC charged?

But it is not as cold as i think it should be or blowing as hard is id like. Is this normal or is there a way I can make it colder.

Did you just recharge it or did they replace any parts?

I worked for a company that sold radiators and air conditioning parts (for cars) and one thing I learned is that your air conditioning does not "run out of freon". If you run out it's because a seal or part failed and the freon leaked out.

So you could be leaking freon and that is making it less cold - or you could have a clog in the system (which likely means you would want to replace the drier and possibly the condensor and expansion valve or orifice tube.

Just take it back and ask why it isn't cold. See if they will do a test to check for leaks (especially since you just paid them to charge it up).
