Default Best car for a first time teen driver?

I want something fast. I was thinking a honda so my insurance isn't sky high. I also have the money to tune up my car. What would be a good year and model to go with? Also other cars that come to mind?

Also what mods should i get?

Ok then maybe i wont look for speed. But could you recommend some cars.

if you like honda and a fan of them. wait for the 2.4 honda SI those are monsters when they come out. all honda SI's after 06 are sick even the 4 doors. and they used cost 11-13grand brand new is 22grand. mitsubishi are nice but expensive and breaks down. subaru is also great same as the mitsubishi. genesis 2.0 turbo is only 22grand and are nice

first time teen driver and fast car should not mix.

teen car drivers take a large percentage of all car crashes.

speeding is also another cause of car crashes.

do not put those two together.

you walk before you learn how to run.

get a beater car and get good at driving, something cheap and drive the shit out of it.

Save up for something better in a couple of years after you've become good at driving. a Civic Si is good one, Toyota Corolla S(not really faster than a regular corolla), Mazdaspeed 3(good choice), RX8, Miata, a used G37 maybe, a used 2011 Mustang in a couple of years.
