hello, i was reading that ej6 civics didnt come with the d16y8 vtec engine, but mine has the d16y8, does that mean that my car had been swapped, or did they put that engine in some of the cars for that year model? my car says ej6 on the vin so thats why im wondering about the engine..

A 97 Civic CX Hatch did NOT come with a d16y8! It should have came stock with a d16y7. So that means your car has been swapped!!
