Default How are this car and Honda related, if at all?

Okay so I think I'm going to buy this car:

http://www.autobase.com/cgi/info.exe...&dealer=nsubas

I keep hearing people say its a Honda... But it says its an Acura.

Does this car have anything to do with Hondas?

If not, are they good and reliable, as well as longlasting?

I've always heard that Acura was the upline of Honda. That means it's a better car/also costs more.

Acura is the "luxury" or upscale vehicle division of Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company. Acura is a brand sold only in the U.S., Canada, and Hong Kong - in other countries, including Japan, Acura models have Honda nameplates. Most Acuras are similar to Hondas, but are equipped with more luxury features as standard, like leather seats, navigation systems, etc.

Think of it this way - General Motors (GM) makes Chevrolets, but they also make the upscale brand Cadillac to compete for different customers. In the same way, Nissan makes Infinitis, and Toyota makes Lexus.

Acura is the luxury line of honda, much of the assembly is done here in the u.s., don't let that fool you though an Acura is an(generally) excellent car.

like matt stated honda owns acura. it's just like toyota owns lexus, and nissan owns infiniti. Acura just has more luxury standars, like leather and sunroofs.
