Yes with a scanner. If you know someone who has a scanner have that person check out what cause the light to come on. It might be one of the SRS sensors cause the light to turn on.

If you don't care what the SRS trouble code is, you can do this and it should also reset the light:

(be sure you have the audio unit's anti-theft code, as this will reset the audio unit memory as well)

Disconnect the negative battery cable, then disconnect the positive cable.

Hold the metal ends of the cables together for about 30 seconds.

Reconnect the positive cable, then reconnect the negative cable.

That should clear the SRS light, but it most likely will turn back on until whatever problem its detecting is fixed. The engine may idle roughly after this, so you may need to start the engine and let it idle for about 5 minutes to allow the computer to relearn the idle settings.

You can reset the light with an SRS scanner but more than likely, the light will return. The only way to keep the light off is to replace whatever part has failed. A common issue is the seat belt buckle switch has failed causing the light to illuminate. I have had crash sensors cause the issue as well. Depending on that is wrong, there may be a lifetime warranty on it, check with the dealer.

As a side note, the SRS system will be disabled when the light is on.
