Default My Tachometer is broken. how do i fix it?

I drive a 1993 Honda Del Sol, I bought some indiglo gauges, i was installing them when my tach needle popped off. i put it back on. but my idle was showing up near 3000 rpm so i took it off and moved the needle back down with my finger. at this point it was unresponsive. i took the whole gauge off to where i could see the mechanics. and it looks as if the spring that runs the tach has uncoiled. how do i fix this? or where can i take it to get fixed?

is it possible to fix the OEM tach that is in it?

Get a new one.

You broke the needle. It's not possible to fix it. It's a fail-safe just like trying to roll back miles. Buy a used one. If someone tries to charge you more than 40 bucks then punch them in the throat cause its probably worth no more than $20.
