Default OBDII CODE P0118 Honda Accord year 2000?

Honda Accord year 2000 OBDII code reading P0118 . Where is the sensor that is causing the engine check light to come on . The code book states its high temperature but there is no overheating problem.

For got its a 6 cylinder

That code is for the engine coolant temperature sensor. Do you have a 4 cylinder engine or V6? The sensor will be screwed into the cylinder head and have a couple wires out the back at the connector.

Edit: For the V6, it is on the driver's side of the front cylinder head. As you are looking at the engine from the driver's side, find the plastic oil cap and then look about 1 foot back into the engine. There should be an electrical connector (about 1 inch in diameter) plugged vertically into the temp sensor.

The part shouldn't be more than $30 and should take about 1/2 hr to replace it.
