Default What do you think of a 2010 Honda Accord for a 17 year old?

I always wanted a Mustang but my mom just asked me did I want this Accord and I am debating on whether not. I seen pictures online and it looks nice but I feel its for older people. What do you think?

My parents not mom i mean

you should take whatever youget since mom is paying for it. you should save her a lot of trouble and search for an older honda that will last you a long time and only cost a few thousand dollars. the accord is more reliable and better gas mileage, i would take accord over a mustang any day.

both of my sons have had accords and they held up well. the biggest problem was the brakes. they seem to go through pads more often than other cars. i would certainly buy an accord as a used car though as long as all is well with the car. have it checked by a mechanic to be sure.

Accords aren't for old people. I personally think it's too new for a 17 year old because your first car is gonna get abused. You said you wanted a mustang, you can look at some fox body 5.0's and they'll be cheaper then the Accord so you would be saving your mom money too. I'd just look for a mustang.

personally my opinion in for a 17 year old, a '10 accord is too much. especially many 17 year olds i know who cant drive for shit these days. young people try to show off their car and end up smashing it and making their insurance rates go up high before they reach 21.....beside 250hp accord is too much to handle for someone that age. don't be pisst off by what i said but its just how it is. instead get a 92-00 honda civic which is great on gas and insurance is low on them. even full coverage.
