Default i have a 96honda goldwing se that i drove cross country and it quit on me twice in 8600 miles...

...and it was just? it was just like i had hit the kill switch but not. after letting it sit for a good half hour it started up and ran fine. i had a civic that had a similar problem when it was hot outside, and was remedied by replacing a relay was wondering if i might have a similar problem with the goldwing. I am going crosscountry this summer and dont want this happening again. the garage where i have it serviced told me they couldnt do anything untill it happened.

Hi, i read your prob and im not sure what that could be. i had a similar problem and would have never thought to but a buddy suggested i flush the radiator system out and sure enough the prob stopped. still not sure why. lol maybe you can help me as well... that relay you said you changed on the civic.... do you know the name of it and where was it located?

Thanx and good luck
