I don't think you can buy a conversion kit, but you can find instructions on how to do an "lsvtec" as they call it. from what i've heard, all you do is swap the vtec head onto the non-vtec block, but you have to drill oil lines or run them, or both.. not really sure.. i also here that vtec conversions don't last long and the engines blow within 20-30,000 miles after the conversion. your best bet is to sell it and get a prelude or something with the h22a vtec. those engines are beasts. or you could turbocharge your civ.. but i wouldn't bet on that lasting long either.

Lol this guy Sid is funny. B20vtec and Lsvtec can last as long as a regular motor, just depends on how you build it and the quality of parts.

I'd recommend you turbo it or go b20v. Turbo will get the most power but you will need to get a good tune and good parts, it won't be cheap. You can do it cheaply and hope for the best but it usually breaks down. B20v is a beast all motor. People are putting down 230-250whp all motor which is pretty good for a b series. The problem is you can only take it to 7000-75000 rpms, anything higher will do damage. Just get the golden eagle ls/vtec conversion kit it will work for the b20v. You will also need a b16, gsr, or type-r head, I'd recommend the GSR.

I'd go with a b20/vtec. They're a lot of fun.

You can't buy a Vtec kit. You have to get a Vtec head to make it Vtec
