Default really dumb, but how do i find out what model my car is? (like si, ct, xl)?

i have a 2011 honda civic coupe, and the manual says "all models except si take regular fuel" but i thought my dad said it took regular when we got it, so i've been putting regular fuel in it, where as it says si models take premium. there haven't been any problems with the car or anything, but you know.. it should have the proper fuel. i looked through all the papers and one said "honda/ civic / coupe ex / 2011" but i didnt think they even made ex coupe's? i'm really blonde on the inside, so please bear with me.

eeeee, thanks chris, and thank you kenny! so much so much.

oh and it is an automatic, so phew. really helped me out of a panic attack. haha

If you want a distinct answer without question - write down your Vehicle Identification Number or VIN located on your driver's side dashboard or alternately on your driver's side door sticker. Call the local Honda Dealership and ask for service. Tell them that you'd like to know what make your vehicle specifications are - and tell them you have the VIN number at hand to read to them. They will be happy to inform you of every option your vehicle was originally built with. It's not a stupid question to ask - because this is exactly how classic car dealers and owners find out about their own vehicle specifications at shows and auctions. Good luck!

I do not think you have an SI model because the seat and instrument cluster will have SI printed on them. Also if you are driving an automatic then it's not an SI.
