Default A/c problems 99 civic.? Help.? ?

I've got an 99 Honda civic. Bought it used, a/c never worked properly. Decided recently that I was tired feeling like I was driving in John Goodmans jock strap, so I was going to fix it. The compressor was kicking in and out, so I figured the bearings were going out in the clutch. I bought a new compressor and put it in(put in 6oz of compressor oil like recomended, and vac'd it out), bypassed the relay to see whether it was good and it was, low pressor switch is fine, replaced the receiver/dryer, and refilledthe refrigerant( temp outside was 94 so the low side is at 50psi and the high side is around 500psi). Still nothing. I'm dying here. I don't know aha else it could be. Please if you have any idea of what I should try next it would be a great help. Thank you.!

If your head pressure is at 500 psi, you are not getting enough cooling air over the condenser. Check for blockage ( pet hair, bugs, paper or rags) between the radiator and the condenser. If yours is one that has a separate condenser that is side by side of the radiator. Then look for vane damage ( vanes that are bent over and will not allow air to pass between the grid) on the lower portion of the condenser, 40% damage will cause high temperatures and high pressure. Too much 134a in the system will also cause high pressures. To see if I am Correct, take your garden hose and mist the condenser and watch the pressure go down. Proper fan operation is essential in keeping the pressure down. Hope this helps.

99 civics i guess are notorious for AC problems along with drivers side windows messing up.

Mine was acting up so i replaced blower motor and now everything is perfect,

shop around for parts for anything on your honda. alot of people hate on ebay but ive got loads of parts for my civic on ebay and they have all been quality parts.

honda wanted over 100$ for a blower motor, yet i got one off ebay that was brand new for 34$ with shipping and it has a warranty.

good luck i know how bad no AC sux i did it for 2 weeks when it was 100 degrees everyday and hated life till it got fixed
