Default Removing screws from 94 Del Sol air Filter?

I'm trying to remove the air filter case on my Del Sol but two of the screws are just a mess and I can't find anything to lock on. I tried using pliers too but they cant work either. Any solutions?

This is a very common problem. The metal bolts and nuts rust and seize, and be careful removing them, as the plastic box holding the air filter can break if too much torque is used to try to free the rusted bolt.

Since two of the bolts are seized, you'll need to get something to replace them (if only one was bad, you could just leave that one off and usually not have any problems. But two of them being left off may cause air to leak in past the filter and cause the engine light to turn on). I would recommend Drilling out the bolts (use a drill bit that is just a tad larger than the bolt shaft so you can save as much of the filter box as possible), and then put a bolt, washers, and nuts in place to hold the halves of the filter box together. (Would be this order down from the top: bolt, washer, filter box top, filter box bottom, washer, then nut.)
