I've owned three of them (1992, 1993, and 1996). I can tell you this:

First: You can't summarize a car by name. Each car you encounter will be in a different shape than the last. My first one was in great shape, but a salvage title. My second one was in terrible shape. My current one is in fair shape.

Based on that, you can't say whether they're good cars or not, unless you thoroughly inspect the SPECIFIC one you're looking to buy.

Pros: Good gas mileage, sporty looks. It's a honda, so all the parts for repair are dirt cheap.

Cons: You'll feel like it should be a sports car, it's not. Small rear seat. Trunk is somewhat difficult to use, because of the design. (all 4th gen data)

As far as the three types, you can google that, no point in spelling it all out. But for the record, I've owned only Si's. There's NO point at all in getting the V-tec model. Same thing with the gas mileage. I'm not going to copy all the specs for you, you can do that.

Fast for it's class? Sure, it goes the speed limit perfectly fine. It's an economy sports coupe. It's not a race car.

Do they last? It's a machine. If you take care of it, it lasts. If you don't, it won't. No different than any other model of car. Consider the fact that you're looking at 20 year old car. That's 20 years of being driven by various owners. Ultimately, you have no idea how they drove it, or how they maintained it.

Is that car a good deal? No way for us to tell you. We're not there to inspect it. Take it to a mechanic, get it checked out, decide for yourself.
