My father had an 1993 Accord that he sold with 359k on it, never had a single problem with it.

i'd get the Accord. Honda's been building these things for 30 years, they're some of the most reliable cars on the road....and they're also not built in Mexico. the resale value alone says a lot about the quality, compare used Accords with used Fusions and you'll see what i mean.

Honda has a longer track record but ford has stepped they game up when they brought out the fusion you can't go wrong with the Honda accord the ford fusion is one of fords newer lines it will take a few years to know for sure if it is as good or better than the accord far as longevity but honda has been known to build cars that last longer than most cars so if you want a sure thing I would say go with the accord

Ford might be on their game now, but I'd stick with Honda and let everyone else be the Ford guinea pigs while they figure it out.

Go to any number of car enthusiast magazines like Car and Driver, Road and Track, Motor Trend or heck, even Consumer Reports! Look back over the back 30 years and see how many times the Honda Accord has won the Car of the Year Award. How many times has the Fusion won it? There's your answer. Without a doubt I'd go with the car that has the PROVEN track record.
