Default 09 pilot bracket removal?

2009 Honda Pilot Touring

This is a bracket that holds the multiple lines (fuel, A/C and brake) that run from the front of the car to the back. This bracket is located under the car along the frame on the drivers side. 1 is along the frame rail under the drivers floor board and the other is on the frame rail under the car about where the rear of the drivers seat is located.

As you can see there appears to be a bolt that it fits over but the bolt must be tack welded to the underside floor panel because it is not all the way through so it can not be removed from the floor inside the car. Anyone know how to get it off without tearing it up? Is there a special tool needed?

I need to change out a brake line that runs from the front VSA module to the rear wheel.

Default Re: 09 pilot bracket removal?

UPDATE:

After not being able to get an answer anywhere including the dealer I finally got it off.

Use a flat head screw driver with a medium size blade. Maybe even use a flat head blade on the smaller side. Notice the square plastic hole with the bolt in it that looks like it comes from the floor inside the cab of the vehicle. You will see to plastic flaps that look like they are holding the plastic clip on to the screw. Sticking the screw driver in the square hole next to the bolt sideways you are going to pry the plastic flaps out of the way and push up as far as you can inserting the screw driver in the hole. There is a plastic piece that has to be spread on the inside of the square at the top of the clip where it meets the car that will allow the clip to come off the bolt once it is spread. At the same time pull down on the clip and the clip will slide off the bolt where you can remove the lines. The clip slide off easy once you have the screw driver spreading the plastic so if it gives you trouble use a different size flat head until you feel the clip slid down off the bolt.

You do not need to take the seat out or do anything in the inside of your pilot to get those brackets off as it first appears.
