Default Questions about putting d16y8 vtec in 93 del sol?

I have a 93 honda del sol with a stock d15b7 and theres a wrecked 95 civic ex i belive and it has a d16y8 vtec in it and the motor runs good but car cant drive from wreck but they only wont 650 for it. if i got it could i pull the motor and everything out and bolt directly in? or will i need different mounts? and will the axels work in my del sol? what else will i need to put it in my car that wouldnt already be in the civic. thanks for any help. best answer 10 points!!

Yes the new motor will fit in perfect because they are both d-series. Anything in your series will work together. So if u have any aftermarket parts they'll bolt right back.

the motor should drop right in. the axles will work also. make sure to use your cars engine harness and grab the ecu from the other car. the only things you may need from elsewhere is anything you have too cut or has been damaged from the wreck. the mount will be the same with only the tranny mount maybe being different but can be swapped from your motor. should be pretty straightforward. I would pull the valve cover off and the oil pan to make sure the motor shows no signs of internal damage or hydrolocked otherwise its a good deal.
