Default okay i have a honda civic 1994 DX n it has a D15b non vtec why is that?

i thought it came with a D15b7 but it doesnt, now i am wondering if the ecu "p06 " is the correct one for the D15b that it has?

it doesnt have D15B7 that it should ,,,, it has a D15b,,,,,,,,,

It does come with the D15B7 and the P06 is the correct ECU for that engine.

D15B7 is a non-VTEC engine found in all '92-'95 LX/DX models. No DX/LX model had VTEC engines until the most recent generation (2006-2011). The 2012+ LX/DX models will continue with VTEC engines as well.

Edit: Sorry misread the question.

If the D15B is the 3-stage VTEC version you need a P08 or P2J. If you do not have VTEC then the P06 is fine.

93-95 civics dx are base models non-vtec and lx were the sedans you will need an ex to have v-tec
