Default Can a 2003 Honda Civic Hatchback be an automatic?

So I'm really interested in buying this car- a used 2003 Honda Civic Hatchback- with 104,000 miles. The ad doesn't say if it's an automatic or standard, and I haven't even seen any 2003 Honda Hatchbacks that ARE automatics. Before I go and look at it, I want to know if i'll even be able to drive it, haha. So i guess this could be a stupid question, but don't answer unless you actually know, does honda make any automatic 2003 Honda Civic Hatchbacks?

I emailed the guy and asked, he didn't leave a number. I'm just waiting for him to respond, but I don't know how long that will be so I wanted to find out before I got my hopes up haha

Yes, the majority of 03 Civic's in the US were sold with automatic transmission, so you will probably be lucky... but why not just call and ask?

I believe all 2002-2005 Civic hatchbacks are the Si model (EP3). They only come with 5speed transmission. This is probably why the transmission type was not listed in the ad.

It's not that hard to learn to drive a manual transmission. I taught my son in a few days and now he loves it.

No not for the 2001-2005 model years. The hatchback was sold only as the Si trim level and all Si Civic's are purely manual transmissions.

If you want an automatic hatchback that bad, you're going to have to look at the older generations before 2000.

It IS worth learning how to drive a manual, it's frustrating at first, but well worth it.

Honda's Si line (US) never came in automatic. Not a single one. Zip zero nada. If they did no one would buy one.
