Default 94 Accord buzzing at 3000rpm?

I have a 1994 Honda Accord Ex with 235k miles..whenever the rpm hits 3000 there is a loud buzzing sound. Is this a big problem that I should take to my mechanic or can I just leave it be??

My 96 accord had a certain vibration which seemed to start around 2700 rpm and taper off above that. In mine, I'm certain it was just an inherent characteristic of that engine. I got rid of the car with 90k miles and the oil was always in good condition with no indicators of anything wrong with it. Did you recently buy the car and notice the buzz, or have you had it a while before the vibration occurred? If no actual change has occurred, then it's probably okay.
