P1070 is Fuel Trim Malfunction. It's probably running too rich. Check your O2 Sensor and the fuel system.

I can't find any reference to P1070, in Honda or any other make (codes of 1000 and above are specfic to the make). The first source usually comes up with the code if it exists.

If it was really P0170, "Fuel Trim Malfunction," that is very unusual in Hondas. As the article in source 2 states "the most common problem associated with this code is the MAF sensor" - but Honda uses MAP sensors rather than a MAF. The difference highlights why the code is almost unheard of in Hondas - MAP sensors call for fuel to be injected based on the manifold pressure rather than the amount of air coming in through the air cleaner, so vacuum leaks do not impact mixture at all. There would not be many suspects left. There could be something wrong with the fuel (first generation Prius were known for throwing a "fuel trim" code if premium gas was used), the fuel pressure regulator may be haywire, or the injectors may be seriously dirty.
