Default What year and mileage is reasonable for a Honda civic or accord for $4000 or less?

I need a Honda Civic or Accord for College. What should I get Civic or Accord?

Also will finding a black color be more expensive?

Honda's have VERY VERY high resale value. This is good for some, and bad for others. It is good for the people that are selling the vehicle because they can get more money. It is bad for the buyer though, because we have to pay more. It is worth it to buy a Honda, don't get me wrong, BUT a decent Honda would probably run you at least 5 grand or more. If your looking for a Honda around 4000 dollars, you will probably find that most the cars you find will have either high miles, or a very old car. I have been looking for a Honda to buy as well and I have only seen ones that have high mileage or that are very old. The ones that are cheaper are usually damaged or have something wrong with them. If you are not getting any luck with Honda's you could try to get a Hyundai, or a Kia. Try to get a newer Kia or Hyundai too because the older ones aren't the greatest, but the newer ones are MUCH better in quality and dependability. I hope I helped, Good Luck!!

Accords are bigger so they guzzle more gas than Civic.
