Its fairly easy, someone with basic mechanical skills can do it. I dont work on cars myself but a friend of mine swoed me how to do it, and it was fairly easy and straight forward.

like mike said its really easy just remove the valve cover and the exhaust manifold/headers, remove head stubs. leave the intake manifold on makes the whole process easier.

Easy. Just make sure you loosen and tighten the cylinder head bolts exactly how an OEM manual says to or you can damage the cylinder head.

Takes about 6-8 hours the first time, after that anyone with experience can do these head gasket jobs in 4-5 hours or less.

Also, just some important things to note:

1. Your cylinder head bolts are Yield-to-Torque bolts, in other words, they are 1 time use and should be thrown away and replaced with OEM new bolts.

2. Your cylinder head should be resurfaced, costs about $35-$45 at a machine shop.

3. Use a torque wrench to correctly tighten down the bolts and do it in the correct order or damage can be a result.
