Default 99 civic ex wont start. it was overheated.?

the cars was overheating, i was told to change the cooling fan switch, i changed it but it kept overheating, then i changed the cooling fan relay, it kept overheating, when i got home the car didn't want to start.

Should have had a mechanic check it out.....if it turns over it has probably jumped timing...if moter is froze then you can use that moter for a nice boat anchor......why would your drive it running hot.......expensive lesson learned

Never drive an overheated the temperature the engine can reach the problem is extremely magnified.

Best to just take it in and have it diagnosed, it could be anything from melted wires and connections to a severely warped cylinder head that no longer holds compression.
