Default 93 accord 5 speed tranny lx vs. ex

i have a lx accord and found an ex tranny.
i know the gear ratios are different, but i want to know if the ex tranny will bolt up and work on my lx engine.
also, are there any other issues like speedometer changes or different cpu needed?
please let me know if the ex tranny is worth my $100 to purchase
by the way, my tranny broke because the bearing went out and all the oil leaked out
the car wont engage in gear now even with the clutch pedal out and i can hear the throwout bearing spinning, especially in reverse
