Default Should this honda accord be a good car to get?

It has 157,000 miles on it and hes selling it for 1,600$. Good deal? He is in high school but i havent seen him drive it to hard. it is a 1997 4 cylinder coupe

make sure timing chain/belt has been replaced or else you are in a heap of trouble any day.

yes for sure timing belt would be a for sure thing to have done. also transmission is smooth not running sloppy.

Yeah, just check the timing belt and a smooth transmission. Since it has the stock motor it doesn't sound like its been messed with to much. The miles are good....&& Honda motors will run forever with proper care.
