Default Honda civic 1992 wiring?

Hey guys, I had trouble installing a new stereo so I took it to a shop and it my stereo working, than i find out when I get home my taillights or signals in the back dont work anymore, thanks to those people. Also the whole right side of my car doesn't sound. So im really disappointed about that. I was wondering what steps would I take to go about fixing this myself. I have time to buy tools and learn about my car and am willing to. Is there some kind of wiring diagram tutorials specifically for my car? What do you think the problem is? I have no intentions of bringing it to someone to look at.

Those guys probably did the wrong wiring. Not a big problem, so don't worry. The wiring tutorials should be in the manual (if you have it), else go to some reputable audio tuner and get the wiring checked.

Take it back to the shop or find a new one.

That is a horrible and down right awful job that they would "fix" the wiring for you and send the car off to you with incorrectly working speakers on the right side and non-working taillights. I would be back at that shop so fast demanding my money back or they fix it correctly.

If you do it yourself, first you need to buy this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Metra+-+...&skuId=9806717

That will plug straight into your OEM stereo wire harness connector so you do not have to cut any OEM wires. All you have to do is connect that new connectors wires (color matched) to the connector that came with your new stereo then plug the new connector up to your OEM connector.

If you already cut the OEM wires, I suggest you reconnect the OEM connector. If you can't connect the OEM connector back up your just gonna have to do some Trail & Error and try to get them working correctly. I think in your car the brake lights are somewhere wired in with the radio, lighter, and some other things. So it's very possible the shop messed something up or left something unconnected.
