Default How many gallons of gas can you save annually with the 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid?

Okay I failed to mention that this is not for personal use. Based on general driving statistics, how much would the 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid save annually pertaining to gallons of gas.

Cars don't save gas: they burn it.

That one just burns less.

If you're replacing another car with it, It would help to know how much your car burns now, and how much you're driving.

A Civic hybrid gets 43 MPG highway compared to the normal Civic's 34.

If you drive 15,000 miles per year, that's a difference of 93 gallons per year.

Well since you neglected to mention factors like how much driving you do, if its city or highway, how hard you drive or how many people or how much stuff you routinely lug around theres no real answer to your question. Unfortunately it isnt that simple

Well that depends on what you have for a vehicle now, what your mpg is, and how much you're driving and where. It gets around 40mpg in the city and about 43 mpg highway.

what car are you comparing this too?

if you compare it to a gas guzzling challenger sure saves a lot but compare it to a 1992-1995 Honda civic VX it gets worse gas mileage

92-95 Civic VX gets 48 city 55 highway

2010 civic hybrid gets 40 city 43 highway, and cost $20,000 more

they both have similar carbon footprints and emissions...
