Default What is it that makes the horse power an sound notable in a car?

What do headers do? Catalytic? Size of pipe? And muffler? Also muffler tip on a 01 civic 1.7 stock

the headers lets the hot gasses out through the exhaust pipes

the catalytic converter cleans the gasses before it enters the atmosphere

the muffler changes the sound of the car

the muffler tip don't do shyt
