Default considering magnaflow headers and high flow catalytic converter for civic?

I am wanting to get a high flow cat for my civic coupe. It is a 2004 2 door civic. I currently have an aem short ram intake and magnaflow exhaust, how much power can i expect to gain from a high flow cat and headers, and how much will this shave off of acceleration times?

Your best source of an answer on this question would be from the cat manufacturer. I'm sure they have a customer service dept that has access to that information. The problem with this type of question is that your performance is affected by differences in backpressure and exhaust flow rate. all of the high flow exhaust systems will have different specs depending on the design and that means that there is no one answer to your question. Additionally, the manufactures do their tests isolating the variable to just the cat (or other exhaust component) so they typically substitute the component for the OEM part. So your questions is complicated by the addition of a second variable in the short ram intake.

anyone who answers this question with a percentage or time would simply be speculating.

check with the component manufacturers and see if you can get data sheets for the cat.

hope that helps

wont shave anything off acceleration times that you would notice. You can expect maybe 10hp.
