Default 99 civic b18 turbo swap?

i have a 99 civic ex with a ls swap in it. its got a t3/t4 turbo in it python 550cc injectors and tuned at 300 on 10psi. thats what the guy told me who had it. is 10 safe on a stock b18? and could i run unleaded gas in it every once in a while when im low on money? what would happen?

Running 10psi should be ok, though you're probably not going to see much difference. I recommend taking it to dyno shop and have them tune it for you. Please do not run 87 octane, You really need to run premium or you're not going have an engine before too long.

I'd personally keep it at 8psi on the STOCK Ls block.















if it had upgraded internals (pistons, rods etc etc...) then you could leave it at that.































But taking it to a GOOD shop with a Dyno and Some Professional Tuners that KNOW what they're doing to get it Tuned is the best thing for you. Always run 91-93 octane in a Un-Naturally Aspirated car.
