Default annoying clicking

So i've read thru some of these posts and haven't quite got a clear answer. i'm not much of a motorhead, i can do a few things but nothing extensive. i bought a 97 civic this past summer, love it. within the last week the clicking started. replaced the whole left axle since thats the side the clicking was coming from. straight out the gate with new(not refurbished) axle in, click click click... so now of course i'm fairly irritated. only clicks on left turns for the most part, i've heard a couple on the right turn but nothing significant and its really quiet. but as for the left turn, yeah its clicking like i didn't even do anything. previous owner had replaced both axles last year also so he is also puzzled. anyone have any ideas whats up?
