Default Is this Honda Civic a good buy?

Ok so i been doing a lot of research on the car i want to purchase. I been researching different models and i came up with the Honda Civic to fit my needs. I primarily will use this car for work and school purposes. I saw this 2008 Honda Civic for $12,644 with 27,346 miles, I saw the carfax on this car and it has been in one accident before, it said accident involved front impact. Please take a look and give me your opinion ( http://www.fjhonda.com/used/Honda/20...0d688242a5.htm ) I don't like the fact that it has been in a car accident but i can afford it, unlike a civic that is in completely in good condition and will cost more than 16k that i cant afford. Please i will need some useful tips on this. I'm a rookie when it comes to buying cars im only 21 and i need a car to get to work and school. I also talked to State Farm for insurance and they said insurance on this car will be about $100 a month. I also need tips on financing, im planning on putting 5k-6k dwn payment. I also found this other Honda http://www.suburbanautosale.com/vehi...VID=131119510. PLEASE HELP!!!

a honda civic is a good buy, but not one that costs 12 thousand dollars.

go to a used car car dealership or newspaper and browse from there. a first car should be around 5 thousand dollars. don't think about the mileage. a reliable car like the toyota camry should last around

300k miles.
