I have a Honda Accord 2000 (V6). I'm getting intermittent cylinder misfire issues.
It happens when I drive for a while and stop the car and start again. Car starts for few seconds and stops. When I push a gas while starting, it starts but the engine strokes are not smooth. Also check engine light flashes for a while and code says all 6 cylnder misfire. Car runs smooth when I drive it to office and drive back home in evening. It happens only when I drive for a while and stop and start again (mostly after 6-7 breaks - I'm not sure if this is relevent). Is this something to do with the spark plug? Do I need to use Japanese spark plug instead of German? I have got coils checked from mechanic and he said those are good. Thanks in advance. |

@likhesh
I have same problem in my car (2000 Accord V6) since 3 to 4 weeks. All 6 Spark plugs (NGK platinum) are new and I got them just 2 weeks before Check Engine light turned on. Code is P0300 and the guy at Autozone said all 6 cylinders misfired. Could you please share how you fixed this problem in your car? |
