Default I have a 97 Honda Civic EX automatic, cruise control problems?

I click the cruise control button and the light turns on and then i click the set button and the cruise control doesn't engage.

Check to see if your brake switch is working properly. It may think you are pressing the brake. It's a 4 wire switch, 2 for the brake lights 2 for the cruise.

Also it may need to be recalibrated. Have a mechanic check it over if need be.
