Default How to replace a key for honda accord 2008 v6 2-door coupe?

Hi

I have only one key to my honda accord 2008 v6 coupe. I just had one lost on a really bad fall on the ski slopes at mount tremblant in Canada.. I got a couple questions

1. where to get or make the duplicate key?

2. how much time does it take?

3. how much does it cost?

Thank you very much for your help,

Simon

1. You must go to a Honda dealership and prove that you are the registered owner of the vehicle.

2. Typically a few hours

3. The key itself probably costs $125-$200 and then they will charge you another $80-$120 to program it. If they do not program it, it will not work.

Amazingkeys.com has the keys for your 2008 Honda Accord for $29.99 or $49.99 depending upon if your key has the remote thingy built into the key. You can order the keys and have the dealer program them or you can have one of amazingkeys.com local affiliates cut and program the keys. Here is the link to the pictures and descriptions of the 2008 Honda keys from amazingkeys.com:

Go to an automotive locksmith and get the key cut and programmed. Stock item, price varies, call before you go. The dealer can't and most locksmiths won't touch a key not from their stock due to liability.
