Default My honda civic wont start?

Its a 93 honda civic and its uses a chip (and the key) to start it...today my boyfriend put another chip from a different honda civic in it to see if it would also work and after that it wont start...i dont know if this has anything to do with it but now it wont start.it doesnt make any noises when we try to start it...also we already got a jump so its not the battery! If anyone has any idea of what it can be please let me know kuz for now we are stuck

To clarify; this is not a chip as a lot of beginner tuners refer to the ECU "Chip",, The "Chip" that you are referring to is a Pro-Lock triangular shaped security chip that was designed and used to "Immobilize" your automobile from theft. Merely a deterrent, not a totally fix to thieves, but that is not the point.

The company 'ProLock' is no longer is business and will (if you can reach anyone associated with the past company) tell you to REMOVE THE SYSTEM!

Key's (ProLock passkeys) from other cars are unique by code! If they weren't what would the point be in having this key?!?!

The only way to disable this devise is to remove it's 'Starter Kill Relay Inline' switch. And if you do not know what you are doing, STOP,, and have a qualified mobile audio/security alarm tech come out or transport your car to one to have it removed.

Advise - Remove this system, remove the starter kill relay inline, and then you can start the car.
