Default what type of clutch should i buy for my honda civic?

so i have this 1997 honda civic hx and i kinda like to speed once in a while, when i can. so i was wondering what would be a good brand that would last me some time??

hmm....maybe buying something from a more performance oriented Civic would do.A Type-R clutch maybe? If you want aftermarket,i know that Centerforce is specialized,and so does Sachs.But i find them a bit of exaggeration,as you haven't modified the car's transmission system,or the engine.I say,go for a Type-R/SiR clutch,if it can be installed

competition clutch stage 1 or 2 depending on your preference

Save yourself the pain and misery of a stiff clutch,, unless you have a left calf that is the size of a large basketball! LOL Really,, whether you choose a light pressure plate or not,,,































,,, go with a OEM Clutch Disc Pressure Plate and Throw-out Bearing!































I guarantee, with the gas sipping HX, you will not need anything over that like is being suggested.































Speed costs money anyway you toss it!.. And after all is said and done, when your clutch is "Hooked up" with the constantly spinning engine,, it is only you and your right foot that controls how fast you go! Not the clutch package.

Exedy clutches are pretty good and relatively inexpensive.
