Default Which is better to buy? a 2003 honda civic ex or a 2001 toyota celica gt?

Im wondering if anyone would answer my question? Would you prefer paying 5500 cash for a 2003 honda civic ex or paying 4500 for a toyota Celia gt?

THe Honda Has 94k and the Celica has 97k. The Honda has a cracked muffler and i would buy it as is for 5500. The good thing is that the Cadillac converter isn't cracked so to get the muffler molded it will be around 150 to be fixed. The toyota has temp.problems so I could buy the car as is for 3300 and fix myself or I could wait for the guy to fix it and pay 4500 instead. Any suggestions?

I couldn't say unless I did a firsthand inspection of the cars condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. Remember that there are thousands of each one already in junkyards because their owners ruined them and thousands more that really aren't worth much more than scrap price.

You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carquotes.sinfree.net
