Default 1992 Honda Prelude 2.2L FI 4cyl?

Hello, I have a 1992 Honda Prelude 2.2L FI 4cyl. It will start and run if I boost it off. And will run for about 15 minutes then dies, and wont even crank if I try starting back up right after. I'm thinking it may be the alternator, but I was told that the distributor may also cause this problem...If anyone has any kind of idea what may be causing this problem please let me know.

-Thank You-

sounds to me like the alternator cant recharge the battery so the battery is running off whatever juice it gets while its jumped and then dies.
